Welcome to the 360Man Project!

My Name is Stephen
I’m not an expert, I tell this to people all the time. The only thing I have going for me is my unique ability to fail...a lot. In my failure though, I learn...a lot.

Ever since I was a kid, I had a voice inside me, telling me to follow my own path. It often times led me astray. I barely graduated high school, had no motivation to go to college, so I joined the Navy. The Navy is where I learned about life.

I had a great time traveling the world and visiting almost every country in Asia. I drank a lot of beer, got in a lot of fights, almost died multiple times. slept on beaches, climbed mountains, snowboarded in Nagano, lived on an aircraft carrier. Took off, and landed on an aircraft carrier. Got a tattoo, did unearthly amounts of karaoke, memorized ABBA's dancing queen, taught myself bass guitar, only owned what could fit into my green Sea-bag, learned some Japanese,

The list could go on and on, but you get the point. I'm not some random guy behind a computer giving advice about a life I've never experienced.

I can't stand bad fitness advice, armchair experts, people that talk a lot, and people that pawn your ideas off as their own.

I love fitness, mountain biking, playing the bass, learning new stuff, building this website, and helping others.

What really ignites my fire though is helping men have success in their lives.

Somewhere after high school and just after having kids, a man tends to lose himself. He lets himself go physically, spiritually, and mentally.

One day we wake up and say to ourselves, "where has the time gone? I'm 30 pounds overweight, I have kids that want my attention, I am working a job that I don't even like. What happened?"

That's what happened to me, and I know that I'm not alone.

I used to watch movies of guys who had ripped abs, had acquired some really cool skill, or who seemed to know just who they were and what they wanted from life. I would read books about real men, who had achieved greatness and gone through serious hardship. (The Strenuous Life.) I wanted that. I wanted to be that man.

The truth. I am that man, I just needed to believe it.

You are also that man. You always have been. The trick is drawing it out.

I strongly believe and have proved in my own life, that there are 4 pillars for a man to live out.

  • Men need to have some sort of consistent physical activity that they do, whether it's lifting weights, martial arts, running, swimming, biking or a combination of all of them.

  • When men don't do this, they get fat, injured, or have health issues. Don't believe me, look around.

  • They also need to have a why, a reason for existing. They need to know their why, so that they can work in their Strengths and become who they are made to be.

  • Men have to be readers or listen to audio of great books. They need to feed their mind with excellent information about history, fitness, areas of business, finance, and from credible reliable sources.

  • If the only time a man is getting information is from Social media, Netflix or the TV, then he must just like being useless.

  • I quote Jocko Willink "If you want to improve mental toughness, try this: BE TOUGHER"

  • If a man wants to know what he is made of, I would urge him strongly to take on some sort of endurance event. Triathlon, Spartan Race 13+ miles, Biking, Marathon, Ultra-Marathon, go-ruck event, being away from your family or loved ones for an extended period of time.

  • A man will find out a lot about himself by physically and mentally challenging himself. The thing you don't think you can do. That's the thing you need to do.

  • Men need to continually learn new skills and become proficient at the ones already developed. If you want to build a website but don't know how...then learn. If you don't know how to bench press,...then learn.

  • Men know that there is never an arrival point, there is never a destination. This life is asymptotic. Meaning you will continually come closer and closer to perfection, but never reach it. That is why it is called 360ManProject.

If you’re ready to be your best then I invite and challenge you to join the 360ManProject!

Don't let FEAR hold you back!
