You know you have to do something.

The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

Man do I get it. In fact, it took me years to get up enough courage to get up and lift a dumbbell, and even then it didn't work.

I knew there had to be other men like me, who want to start working out, but something else just seems to win out, ever single time.

With all of the things going on in your life, kids, spousal duties, home ownership, work responsibilities, it's so hard to have enough energy for anything else. 

It seems hopeless. You start asking yourself questions like:

  • Will I ever get in shape ?
  • Is it possible for me to lose this weight?
  • I want to go to the gym, but how do I find the time?

It's rough. We feel guilty if we go and workout and leave our wives at home with the kids to hold the fort down. It's always an uphill battle.

The truth is. It never gets easier.

Everything worth doing is always difficult, and far more rewarding than the alternative.

If we want to workout and exercise men, then we have to make it a priority. We can't continue to make excuses. We can't look up the weather the night before to see if it's raining and base our workouts on that. 

It is a commitment to making yourself better, and in turn, those around you will be better because you will gain confidence strength and energy.

How do I start working out, where is the starting point? I have no idea what to do.

Great questions, no worries though we got you covered. Welcome to Level 1 fitness, this is the very first pillar of fitness and strength building. We take all of the guesswork out of it for you and give a step by step plan.

This is exactly where I started several years ago, and it is exactly where you should start. 

Whether you are:

  • 25 years old and never worked out
  • Had an injury and looking for a way to get back into fitness
  • Haven't been doing anything fitness related for a while
  • Just got news from the doctor that you need to start exercising
  • You want to be healthy for your kids when they grow up

You came to the right place. We don't care where you are at, but we do care about where you are going. 

It's time for us, to lose the dad-bod, and take back our lives through fitness and health. When we remain idle and start to disappear into the abyss of mediocrity, we lose character, focus, influence, leadership and overall effectiveness.

A man who is physically fit is far more energetic, productive and influential than a man who is not. He has the capacity to go beyond himself. That's where we want to be.

The problem, is that men don't even realize that this is the key to most of the issues they are having. There is something primal and instinctive about exercising. 

If you are:

  • Stressed
  • Depressed
  • "Stuck"
  • Wanting more from life
  • overwhelmed
  • underwhelmed
  • Tired

Then physical exercise is the best remedy. In fact your doctor or healthcare provider will tell you the same thing (If they are honest). Some healthcare providers will just hand you a prescription for depression, and send you on your way. Sure that might help for a while but it's just a band-aid. 

But, I don't like to run or lift weights

Then don't. I'm not going to put you in an arm-bar and make you do something that you don't want to do. If you would rather do Martial arts, then do that. Or maybe its ultimate Frisbee. Whatever it is, just do it, and make sure that it is actually working for you.
