During the summer of 2017 I made up my mind to run a marathon. I had never run farther than a half-marathon (13.1 miles) before this point. I had done several sprint and Olympic triathlons too. When I ran the half-marathon it was two years before this moment. However, I typically ran 2-3 times a week for at least 3-6 miles.
