How a man can be a warrior even when he thinks that he is a lost cause

How a man can be a warrior even when he thinks that he is a lost cause

I have been turned down for job promotions or other positions seven times in the last year.

I understand rejection, and have felt it many times in my life, and will continue to have it happen I’m sure.

Most men have probably felt the pain of rejection, or the frustration from getting passed up for a promotion or different position. I’m not really different than any other man.

The problem with this is when we as men let it consume us, or we dwell on it, and wrap our identity up in it. Or, we think we deserve it.

The truth is maybe we do, but we didn’t get it, and now we have to learn to move on.

Weekly Workout for men: The Iron Triathlon

Weekly Workout for men: The Iron Triathlon

A few years ago I was training for triathlons. I used to search online for all sorts of information on how to get better or what equipment was needed, or what a potential time to complete a triathlon was.

I was really into it. I was riding my bike 30-40 miles on Saturday’s and other days throughout the week, then I would run 20 miles and swim 1 mile, almost every other day.

Yes, I was an endurance machine, and it felt good to be able to run 30 miles no problem.

How to get up early in the morning to workout: 3 simple techniques

How do you get out of bed in the morning?

This is one of the most common questions that I hear from people when they are wanting to start getting up early to workout.

Before we really dive into some methods of how to do it, let’s first take a step back and understand that most people want to exercise, and develop good habits, but there are some very fundamental things that need to be taken care of.

4 amazing books that will transform a mans life, plus two things you should do everyday

Yesterday as I was working out, I thought about some of the things that I wanted to share with every man.

This spawned my first video blog ( I guess that’s what you call it).

It’s called the “4 books Every Man Should Read” and you can view the video below or on YouTube.

There is no longer a Facebook page or an Instagram page for the 360ManProject, but I would like to continue to make videos, and you should begin to see more of those pop up.

However, I don’t want to continue making them if they don’t add any sort of value or help any man out (I believe they will).

15 awesome Sci-Fi and Fantasy books every man should read no matter what his age

I’m a huge nerd.

I love fantasy books, sci-fi books, calculus and fitness. Not only that, but I want others to share in my love for these things.

I believe that it’s easy to get caught up in our lives and become too consumed by the things around us that we forget about the endless possibilities of what could be.

That is why I love sci-fi and fantasy books. They help people to escape the confines of this world and allow their minds to explore the mysteries of the unknown. Sure, some of it might be far fetched, but who cares. The fact that you get to use your imagination should inspire you. It does for me.

7 things that you didn't know about Stephen Dull and the 360 Man Project

This post might sound a bit self serving, but I assure you it’s not.

I just realize that there are a lot of articles on this website, but not a whole lot of information about me, and I want people who are reading this to know more about me and take a peek behind the curtain into my life.

There are two reasons for me doing this:

  • It scares the crap out of me, because I am a very private and introverted person.

  • Because it makes me more real to you

Hopefully, this will help us to become more acquainted and for you to see that I am not a robot, or just someone behind a computer spewing information that has no merit.

Thoughts on Digital Minimalism and going off the Grid: Getting off social media for 30 days

Thoughts on Digital Minimalism and going off the Grid: Getting off social media for 30 days

This past weekend, I was able to do something I haven't done in a while...

I read two books.

These were not only books that interested me, they were books that convicted me to be honest with myself and confront some issues that I have.

What I found out, might shock you.

But first, let me give you a little background.

I grew up in a very small town called Mackay, Idaho. It had a population of no more that about 500 people. I knew everyone, and they knew me. In fact, most people were very polite and would wave and say hello to each-other, neighbors would help out if you were in trouble, or needed a hand.

The 15 most important questions a man needs to ask himself and find the answer to in his life

As men we sometimes believe we are meant to have have everything figured out, that we are somehow immune to not having the answer.

The truth is, we don’t have the answers to a lot of questions.

The problem is that most men, don’t try and find the answer, or even ask the questions.

Whichever it is, this article is meant to help you start asking the right questions, and to find the answers if they need finding out.
