GARAGE GYM ESSENTIALS

When I first began building my garage gym, I wasn’t quite sure what equipment to get. There are a few essentials that I recommend and have used for myself.

Below are some of the essentials that you can get for your garage or home gym. these are the same ones that I have or have used at some point in time.

OLYMPIC BARBELL

7’ Olympic Barbell is one of the best pieces of equipment that you can have. With just a single barbell you can become a strength powerhouse.

The barbell allows you to do the compound movements like:

  • Deadlifts

  • Squats

  • Presses

  • Clean

  • Snatch

  • Thrusters

Pull-Up Bar(s)

This one of the best pieces of equipment that you can get for your garage gym.

kettlebell

Kettlebells are an amazing way to get in shape. Try doing as many swings as you can in 1 minute, then rest a minute and do it again for a total of 10 minutes.

Dumbbell

These are an extremely important piece of equipment. They can be used for curls, overhead lunges, box step ups, press, or almost every single movement a barbell can do, but that add a whole different level of stability.
